Allow Me to Re-Introduce Myself

Something big has happened with me in the past few months. I’ve set out on a new professional path that feels very right, clear, and obvious. It’s the journey I’ve been travelling on for a long time and didn’t even realize.

I started this blog with the hope of helping even just one person ‘level up’ in any area of their life. Over the past few months it’s transformed from a hobby/side-project into something I truly want to pursue professionally. During this time I’ve been discovering how to help people who are busy, stressed out, overwhelmed, and depleted transform their bodies and their lives. I’ve been studying research in psychology, nutrition, and optimal performance, and I’ve turned it into practical knowledge for the real world—skills you can use in your every day life that help you gain energy and maybe even lose weight along the way.

So, I am officially reintroducing myself as a Health Coach.

What is a health coach?

With the relentless demands of work and life, what we are doing to try to transform our bodies is no longer working and we’re looking for something greater. Sometimes we don’t know what to do to make changes but more often it’s that we’re stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out of it. 95% of our behaviour occurs out of habit, either unconsciously or in reaction to external demands. That’s why we struggle to make changes that last. Even when the need for change is obvious and our intentions are strong, we often fall short. And on top of it all, today’s toxic diet culture compounds the issue by telling you to “eat fewer calories and exercise more.” If that really worked, wouldn’t it have worked?

Without the right support and accountability this dysfunctional cycle will continue and in many cases get worse. Doctors, dieticians, and other practitioners either don’t have the time or the follow through to help people stay motivated to get a lasting result. So, people default to their set habits, even when they know those habits don’t make them feel their best.

That’s where Health Coaches like me come in, to provide the right system, support and accountability so you can make lasting change.

All this to say…

In order to jumpstart my new career path, my training requires me to gift an hour long discovery session to six individuals.

What is a discovery session?

In this one-on-one conversation with me, we’ll discuss:

  • what’s been stopping you, slowing you down, or keeping you from having the healthy lifestyle you want

  • A powerful vision for your own transformation, and what it will mean for you and your life

  • Which foods and lifestyle habits are bringing you down, and what to do about it

  • A step-by-step plan to create change in 90 days or less

This is a great opportunity to see what it would be like to work with me as your Health Coach, and for me to get some practice as I hone my skills.
